2. Collected personal data

Saunaspares.com collects and processes your personal data when you place an order in our online store, register as a user of our site, subscribe to our newsletter, send the shopping cart information to yourself by e-mail or add products to the shopping cart. We also collect information about your visit to our online store using cookies (see section Cookies).

Information provided by the user

When placing an order, the required information related to the processing and delivery of the order is collected, such as the user's first name, last name, address, postal code, city and country, email address and telephone number. In addition, during order processing and customer service, we collect messages sent by the customer.

When you register as a user (creating a user account), we collect the user's contact information as well as an email address and phone number. Registration is not mandatory to place an order.

When you subscribe to our newsletter, we save the email address you provide. You can unsubscribe at any time and have your information removed from our newsletter list.

Other information collected

Our online store also collects the following information:

4. Personal data processors

Customer data is processed by Saunaspares.com / MolTech Oy employees and our selected partners. The employees of our partners process your personal data only for the performance of their duties, for example for collecting your order, delivery, receiving returns and customer service tasks.

5. Data protection and storage

Collected personal data is stored in computer centers protected by password-protected servers. Only those persons who have the right to do so due to their duties have access to the systems. Traffic between the system user and the system is always encrypted.

In principle, data is stored for the time required by law, e.g. for orders, the storage is governed by the Finnish Accounting Act. Information based on the consent of others, e.g. the customer, is stored as long as the consent is revoked.

6. Rights of the data subject

Every person in the register has the right to check their information stored in the register and demand the correction of any incorrect information or the completion of incomplete information. If a person wants to check the information stored about him or demand correction, the request must be sent in writing to the controller.

A person in the register has the right to request the removal of personal data about him from the register ("the right to be forgotten"). Requests must be sent in writing to the controller. If necessary, the registrar may ask the requester to prove his identity. The controller responds to the customer within the time stipulated in the EU data protection regulation (generally within a month).

7. Cookies

Saunaspares.com webshop uses cookies. Cookies are small text files between your terminal's browser and the server that have a certain validity period, after which the browser deletes this information. Some cookies are mandatory for the operation of our site and the user cannot refuse them if he wants to continue using our service. Other cookies are cookies related to analytics and marketing, which the user can opt out of using our cookie control application on our home page.
