With Harvia's MyHarvia Smart Sauna Sensor, you can transform your woodburning or electric sauna into a smart sauna! The wireless sensor is installed on the sauna wall and is connected to the free MyHarvia mobile phone app, through which you can see real-time information about the status of your sauna. This sensor is designed to work perfectly with all heater models - with wood-burning heaters - for example, it can remind you to add more wood if necessary!

The MyHarvia app allows you to monitor the temperature, humidity and usage of the sauna anytime, anywhere. The app also estimates when the sauna is ready and notifies you when it is the right time to go to the sauna.

Over time, the sensor collects useful data about how your sauna heats up and behaves in different conditions. With this information, you can optimize energy use, make sauna maintenance easier, and see when it's time to replace the sauna stones, for example.

How does MyHarvia Smart Sauna Sensor work?:

• The sensor is installed on the sauna wall, approximately at shoulder height (at least 20cm from the ceiling), or e.g. near an existing thermometer. The sensor's designed operating temperature is –10°C - +100°C and it must not be installed directly above the heater (at least 500mm from the heater in a lateral direction).
• The sensor is connected to the network via WIFI (required)
• Once the sensor is connected, you can monitor the sauna's temperature, humidity and usage using the MyHarvia app (Google Play or App Store) or via the Harvia web portal.
• The sensor automatically starts transmitting data when the temperature reaches +40 °C and it also automatically shuts down
• The MyHarvia app learns the sauna's heating curve and sends necessary push notifications to your phone, such as "Sauna will be ready in 10 minutes", "Add more wood", etc. You can of course disable the notifications if you wish.
• The sensor is powered by a battery (included), which has a lifespan of approximately 3 years / 600+ hours under normal conditions.
• The application supports multiple languages ​​and Celsius/Fahrenheit units
• Energy consumption analysis and reporting helps you monitor and optimize your sauna's energy use
• The application detects and reports abnormal heating - for example, you will receive a notification if the sauna door has been left open
