Jeremias Smoke pipe protective sheat Straight 500mm Black, for Ø115mm pipe

Jeremias protective sheath for smoke pipes, straight model with a height of 500mm, black painted, used to protect burning surfaces from the heat radiation of a smoke pipe with diameter of 115mm.

The Jeremias protective sheath for smoke pipe is intended to reduce the protective distance of Jeremias smoke pipes. Black painted sheath, can be installed around a 115mm diameter flue or smoke pipe.

The protector can also be used in Jeremias stainless steel smoke pipes and in pipes from other manufacturers, but the fit of the mounting collar may have to be fixed. The effect of reducing the protective distance of the chimney protection is based on the SFS 7020 standard, according to which:

When non-combustible protection is used, behind which there is a ventilated background air gap of at least 20 mm, the protective distance of the flue to the combustible material = the nominal diameter of the connecting/smoke pipe multiplied by 1.5. However, the protective distance must be at least 200 mm. The protective distance is calculated from the surface of the pipe to the burning material, not from the surface of the protective sheath.
